Marking June 3, 2020, Global Running Day, as a day to come together in pursuit of “a world where we all run on equal ground,” Brooks is donating $100,000 to the Equal Justice Initiative and giving an additional $1 for every runner who signs up to run with it now through June 7 (up to $250,000).

The company is inviting anyone who chooses to run on Global Running Day to join us in pursuit of a world where we all run on equal ground.

With Global Running Day virtual in 2020, Brooks is emphasizing that runners prioritize safety if they choose to run — it could be in a backyard, on a local running trail, or wherever a person fgeels comfortable. “It’s not about where you run or how fast you go, it’s about coming together in support of one another,” Brooks says.

To participate, runners can run any time from today, June 3, 2020 through Sunday, June 7, 2020.
